Charlou Jordaan grew up in Malmesbury and is close to the farming community of the Western Cape. In his attorney's practice Charlou represented many farmers over the years and won their trust. He was a member of the Malmesbury Agricultural Show Committee and served for some years as its vice-Chairman. Charlou has been active in the real estate industry from 1990, first in management and then as a partner of Viljoen and Jordaan Properties. A few years later he founded Charlou Jordaan Properties and has acted as principal of this agency until the present. Charlou has experience in most aspects of the property world including the marketing and sale of residential properties, farms and smallholdings, commercial property, industrial land and the development market. His strong legal background adds further value for the seller. His particular expertise is in the agricultural, commercial and developmental aspects of real estate and he now trades as Agrikaap Eiendomme (Edms) Bpk. For 24 years Tertius followed a corporate career with Old Mutual and later with Shell. He was predominantly involved in marketing and sales during this time. His dream however was always to be involved in the agricultural market. He is now pursuing this dream through Agrikaap. Currently living in Malmesbury, his home for more than 10 years, he has a wide network of contacts and friends in the Swartland and growing knowledge of the various farming practices in this region. Tertius also has extensive contacts in the hunting and game farming industry in the Karoo. He has been closely interested in hunting over a period of more than 20 years and during this time qualified as a professional hunter. From time to time he organises and manages safaris in that region for local and international clients. He has a good understanding of farming in the Karoo as well as knowledge of the various Karoo vegetation types and where to find them. He is married to Heidi who is a teacher and they have two sons that are busy studying at Stellenbosch University.
